Product Information

How should I care for my Chess Set?

Keep the set safe from water and splashes to maintain its integrity. Clean dust using only a soft dust brush to avoid damage. Prevent the pieces from falling to the ground to ensure they remain intact. Avoid hitting the white pieces with the black pieces and vice versa, as this can cause discoloration or marks. Handle the set with care, as it is primarily intended for decorative purposes.

Why are there small bubbles in the chess pieces or board?

All of our chess sets are handcrafted, making each one truly unique. As a result of the production process, you may notice small air bubbles or slight imperfections in the pieces or board. These are a natural part of the handmade design and are not considered defects. Instead, they highlight the craftsmanship and individuality of each set, making your chess set one-of-a-kind. Please note that this is not a reason for returns or exchanges.

Orders

Can I modfiy or cancel my order after placing it?
  • Villenchess Orders: If your order has not yet been shipped, you can request changes or cancellations by contacting us via the "Contact Us" form. We will let you know if adjustments are still possible.

  • Villenchess Private Label Orders: Since Private Label products are customized to your specifications, the ability to cancel or modify depends on how far along the production process is. If you have concerns, please contact us immediately. We will do our best to accommodate your request if feasible.

Shipping & Delivery

What is the shipping policy?

Our shipping policy is as follows:

  • Processing Time: Orders are processed on the same day, unless the order is a pre-order. For customized products, please allow an additional 2 days for processing.

  • Shipping Times: Shipping usually takes 1-3 days after dispatch and can vary on your locations.

  • Shipping Methods: We use DHL and their partner Network.

  • Tracking Information: Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a notification with tracking details.

  • Pre-Orders: For pre-order items, the estimated shipping start date is provided on the product page. The earlier you place your pre-order, the sooner your item will ship once deliveries begin.

Which countries do you ship to?

At the moment, we only ship within the European Union. However, if you're interested in shipping to other countries, please feel free to send us an individual request via our "Contact Us" form, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
